ABOUT
The Apothecary is a little hole in the wall now owned by Nia set in Nightwake and is open Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM; exceptions may be made if the proprietor is sick, handling a quest to obtain more ingredients, or other potential emergencies.

Upon entry, characters will notice that the place is surrounded from floor to ceiling with shelves filled to the brim with varying ingredients. All shelves are organized and labeled as needed. The environment has a more rustic feel to it - making customers feel like they're in an ancient, mysterious store.

The Apothecary is here to achieve your very needs in medicine and potions. Payment is accepted in the form of trade or money; deals can be made by inquiring the shop owner. Various other personal services may be offered upon request.

SERVICES
The Apothecary provides its customers with varying services; most of which openly advertised upfront. Those services include the following:

Selling medicines and potions. These can either be ones that have been premade or custom ordered. For a custom order, please check in with the proprietor for an estimate on pricing and how long it will take to make.
Physical check-ups. Diagnoses will be given to customers for free. If the diagnosis is life threatening, medicine will be given for free. For any diagnoses that needs to be handled by a different professional, customers will be directed to the appropriate place.
Selling individual ingredients. All items in the store are also on sale for an appropriate price. Items can either be paid with coin or traded for an item of its equivalent. For the latter, please discuss with the proprietor in making a deal. All items that are considered potentially poisonous or used for lethal methods must be discussed first and sign a waver, as Nia is not willing to sell to nefarious customers. Wavers will note that the item that the customer is buying is poisonous and will ask for the customer to write down what exactly they are using the items for, so it can be utilized legally in the off chance things go awry.
Medicine and potion crafting station. The Apothecary is a perfect place for those who are learning how to make potions to practice outside of a classroom environment. Customers must either bring their own ingredients or buy ingredients from The Apothecary; they must also sign a waver stating what potion(s) or medicine they are crafting before using the station.
Erotic goods. These will only be sold to those who are 16+ years of age. This mostly consist of potions that can be used for this sort of thing, like aphrodisiacs and the like.
Odd jobs. While not openly advertised, Nia will help with most problems if presented to her as long as a deal is made out of it.

Personality: Nia is sassy and temperamental at the best of times, not to mention foul mouthed, but she is at her core a good person. She has no hesitation about calling out behavior she thinks is counterproductive, and will deliver a good beating to a friend if she thinks they need it. She's rather optimistically pessimistic, expecting the worst in the hopes that she'll be pleasantly surprised. However, traumatic experiences in her past lead to the optimistic part of that dropping off until she met Rex. More than anything, she is fiercely protective of those she calls her own. Any threats to her and hers are to be erased with extreme prejudice, even if those threats are their own bloody bad decisions.

Around her friends she has more of a teasing attitude, her sass and sarcasm taking on a less biting edge. She's also a bit lazy, letting the other members of her group handle problems unless it's something that specifically requires her attention. For all her seriousness, she has a surprisingly silly side. She takes no shame in acting much like an actual cat, or doing a little dance to cheer on her allies. Thanks to Rex she's finally put her fear of persecution for her nature as a Flesh Eater behind her, and is willing to use her Blade form in front of the people she trusts. While she is willing to trust people now, she still is far from quick to do so. The trauma of being hunted down and imprisoned for being a Flesh Eater doesn't go away that easily.

Water Control

Cellular acceleration, can be used both to heal and harm.

Driver Bond: Establishes a bond with another and shares her power with them. Allows her to display power beyond her normal capacity and increase the physical abilities of her Driver.

Energy shield: An ability universal to all Blades, she can project a plane of force that can withstand a respectable amount of damage before breaking.

Flesh Eater: Her form has been fused with human cells, allowing her to exist without a Driver in exchange for her Core Crystal being destroyed when she dies.

Fortitude: She has an extremely strong will, allowing her to overcome hardships that even other Blades would struggle with.

Forestry: She knows just about everything there is to know about trees and other wild plants. This knowledge is recorded in her Core Crystal and will be retained under all circumstances bar damage to it.
